About Us

The Curated Dwelling

The Curated Dwelling is a boutique staging and design company located in Central Florida. We aren’t your run of the mill staging company and we don’t want to look like one either. We believe in styling spaces to look curated and chic through our use of colors, textures and unique pieces to cultivate a look that makes our spaces stand out, and subsequently gets you the highest return on your investment possible.

Owner/Principal Designer

After going through a very early mid-life crisis feeling like there had to be something more than just your average 9 to 5, I reversed course in my career and went back to school to graduate with a BS in Interior Design. Since then and for the past 20 years, give or take, I’ve worked as a junior designer in several residential design firms in South Florida. I have worked for construction companies as a Design Project Manager and most recently as a Merchandising Designer for a furniture retailer, designing very large 57,000 sq ft. showrooms. And I loved it. All of it. Until one day, I didn’t.

Design has always been a passion of mine, even when I was DIY’ing it as a stay at home mom. But recently I realized, with as much fun as I was having designing large spaces with an expansive inventory that I didn’t have to purchase myself, I was missing out on an aspect of residential design that I wasn’t getting working for a large retailer. I missed helping people.

The first question I always get asked, either by clients or friends is, “how do you get started in the design process?” And the second question that inevitably follows is, “how do you make it all come together in the end the way you do?”

My answer is always the same, it just comes naturally for me. There are a lot of things I’m not very good at. I’m a horrible baker, although my husband and daughter very graciously disagree and I can’t sew anything to save my life, but design? That’s something that just comes easy for me and I want to help people navigate through a process that most find intimidating, so they can get back to enjoying those things they love doing most. This is why I left corporate design, and started The Curated Dwelling. For people just like you.
